Carrie O'Malley Attends Second Annual Kayo Women’s Executive Leadership Retreat

Carrie O'Malley will attend the second annual Kayo Women’s Executive Leadership Retreat alongside 50 other female executives in Middleburg, Virginia on February 23-25, 2020. Chris Voss, former FBI Negotiator and author of Never Split the Difference, will present on negotiation, and the group will also participate in other educational workshops and group discussions.

Founded in 2013, the Kayo Conference Series unites a community of women investors, investment bankers, asset managers, developers, credit investors, lenders, attorneys, accountants, and industry advisors to network and communicate about deal flow, capital, industry knowledge, and career issues. Kayo connects women through its flagship annual conferences, email newsletters, online community and digital content.

In 2018, Carrie moderated a panel discussion at the Kayo Women’s Real Estate Summit in Washington, D.C., titled “Coffee and Conversation with Local Developers.” Panelists shared insights on projects in the D.C. market and updates on capital raising, pricing, upcoming projects, an outlook on trends, and key risks facing developers. Carrie and Kristen Burgers also hosted a round table discussion on Property-Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Financing.
