Hirschler Continues to Shape Richmond Skyline with Contributions to CoStar Project

As highlighted in Richmond BizSense’s article on Friday, CoStar announced its plans for a new riverfront office complex in Richmond. The new complex will include two buildings, one of which will become Richmond’s tallest tower.

Hirschler Land Use and Zoning partner Jeff Geiger worked with the City and local government to successfully facilitate the CoStar project. Prior to CoStar purchasing property last year, Geiger, with the assistance of Hirschler partner Rob Benaicha, advised the company on the potential development opportunity and the size of the project that could be developed under existing zoning.

As Hirschler closes out its 75th year, we reflect on the firm’s contributions to the transformation and economic growth in our region. Hirschler’s Land Use and Zoning team has a long history of collaboration with municipalities throughout the Richmond region. Over the past decade, members of the Hirschler team have helped shape the central business district skyline with their work on Gateway Plaza, Dominion Energy’s new building, and now, the addition of CoStar’s new complex.
