“VLW presents the Managing Partners Spotlight,” Virginia Lawyers Weekly

In a special feature published on Nov. 29, 2023 by Virginia Lawyers Weekly, Hirschler President Courtney Paulk was selected among an elite list of the “best-known and hardest-working managing partners of law firms in the Commonwealth.”

In its Managing Partner Spotlight, Virginia Lawyers Weekly also sought to profile leaders who “exemplified the diversity of Virginia’s legal profession,” noting that Paulk “focuses on elevating the firm’s client service initiatives, recruiting practices, mentoring programs, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.”

“Paulk, who has practiced at Hirschler for almost 22 years, is the firm’s first female president and leads over 90 attorneys across her law firm’s offices in Richmond, Fredericksburg and Tysons,” the publication said. Paulk also earned praise for her legal practice in which she has “successfully defended commercial clients in many significant claims into the tens of millions of dollars and is considered one of the top construction lawyers in Virginia.”

In addition to highlighting Paulk’s achievements within the legal industry, the feature also recognized her numerous accomplishments as a top athlete with unparalleled accomplishments in open-water marathon swimming. In fact, Paulk was recently selected for induction into the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame (IMSHOF) .
