Rob Benaicha Talks CRE Construction Outlook During Economic Uncertainty

Hirschler Partner Rob Benaicha was quoted in an article published by American City Business Journals’ The National Observer on April 16, 2025, about how commercial real estate developers or investors are responding amid unpredictability in materials costs and labor availability.

Benaicha said he hasn't seen any deals or project contracts canceled, but that underwriting standards are beginning to change.

"To the extent that people have stuff in the pipeline that’s under contract, they’re going to use the turbulence in the market to stretch out their closing dates," Benaicha said.
