On Thursday, March 30, Hirschler's Land Use Forum will host a panel discussion at The Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, Virginia. The purpose of the panel will be to discuss new federal requirements, effective March 31, 2023, that developers should be aware of before clearing trees. These new regulations follow the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service declaring the Northern Long-Eared Bat as endangered under the ESA.
Hirschler Real Estate attorneys, Lisa Goodwin and Logan Brunette, will be joined as panelist by Benjamin Rosner, Director of Environmental Science at Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc. The panel will be moderated by Hirschler Land Use & Zoning attorney, Jeff Geiger.
The panel will give attendees the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the new information from the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and learn about the tools available for compliance.
